I think I mentioned here before that when we arrive here each summer a first task is to get rid of the hundreds of daddy-long-legs that have taken up residence over the winter. But I keep a few under the shelf over my desk so I can observe their habits. Whenever I need a light moment I touch one with the tip of a pencil and watch it do its crazy dervish dance.
